Campfires and Firepits
Campfires and firepits are some of the first things people think about when they think about firewood. We make sure to sell seasoned, split firewood so you don’t need to worry about the wood not burning properly. Whether you’re roasting marshmallows, cooking hot dogs, singing songs, or swapping ghost stories, your campfire will be a merry blaze with our firewood.
Home Heating and Fireplaces
Firewood for home heating is still quite common in some areas, especially in homes that are in more rural areas in the Niagara region. For these homes, it’s important to have firewood that lights easily so you don’t need to spend half an hour tending to it, just to get a bit of warmth in the winter. We make sure to sell only seasoned, split wood to take all the guesswork out.
Smokers and Pizza Ovens
Home cooking and barbecuing enthusiasts often use wood in their cooking. Whether it’s a wood-fired pizza oven (one of the best ways to cook a pizza) or a smoker to make smoked meat or other smoked products, it’s much more common than you might think.

FAQs
-
When Should I Buy Firewood? You should buy your firewood early, before the winter and peak season. It can save you a lot of money. Buying green firewood and seasoning it yourself rather than buying properly seasoned firewood can also be cheaper, so buying early is definitely best.
-
How Do I Store Firewood?Storing firewood is pretty easy – just stack it in a convenient place. As long as it’s in an area that’s dry enough to keep your wood dry, any storage place should do. Firewood racks are sold for firewood indoors. For outdoor storage, firewood sheds or even just awnings or loose tarps are enough to shelter it from the elements.
-
What is Green Wood vs Dry Wood?Green wood is firewood that has been freshly cut. It generally has a moisture content of 40-50% and doesn’t burn very well. To be considered “seasoned”, it needs to be allowed to air dry until it has a moisture content of less than 20%.
